After a flurry of African movies started receiving more recognition on universal streaming service Netflix circa 2019, four Kenyan movies have since gone up on the service.
Another Kenyan movie; comedy family drama ‘Just In Time’ is set to debut worldwide on the streaming service in March.
It will be the novel Kenyan movie to premiere worldwide after the others are only limited to Netflix Africa.

The movie is produced and starred by acclaimed Kenyan actress Sarah Hassan who’s Valentine’s day Rom-Com Plan B was a hit on YouTube.
Sarah Hassan also produced the 40 sticks thriller movie which was taken up by Netflix in 2020.
The movie will also feature Kenyan DJ cum actress Pierra Makena who featured on Disconnect’ (also on Netflix) and kid actress Stycie Waweru known for her role on Supa Modo.
The film was shot in Nairobi in 2019 and after two years of polishing, it’s set.
