Award winning singer Wahu Kagwi is a beautiful woman. Known for hits such as Liar, Sweet Love, Sitishiki and Yeye, Wahu is one of the most talented and learned artiste in the local music industry.
Wahu attended Precious Blood Riruta, a national school where her love for music blossomed. The talented songbird is not only an alumnus of of the school but also an important icon after she wrote the school’s anthem.
While in high school, Wahu and a friend wrote their first song, Showers of Blessing in celebration of their impressive KCSE performance and since then, it was made the official school anthem.

After high school, she joined Nairobi University where she pursued a degree in Mathematics and passed well. A few months later, she took her music career seriously and she is currently one of the most sought after artistes in the East Africa region.
In a previous interview with Mambo Mseto, the Sweet Love hitmaker revealed that she was a typical liar in her childhood.
“I came from a humble background and when I was little, I could tell lies to protect my image. I attended Hospital Hill Primary School; a learning center which was only a preserve for the rich. While other children were being driven and picked from the facility, I used to walk to and from the institution.”
Well, as the days pass by, Wahu continues to shine and she is married to a fellow singer David Mathenge aka Nameless and are blessed with two adorable daughters. Wahu who prefers a low profile away from the public eye has finally introduced her sister Charity Kagwi to the online community. She is beautiful and looks like Wahu.
