Revered late Ugandan musician, Mowzey Radio, real name – Moses Ssekibongo is remembered solemnly three years after his demise.
Radio bit the dust on 1st February 2018 in Kampala – Uganda following injuries sustained in a club brawl that ultimately turned tragic.
The distinguished singer; half of the duo Radio and Weasel acclaimed for their portfolio of hits, mostly ‘Nakudata’ in what would have been his 36th birthday had candid messages of praise trickling in.

Nigerian Singer Rude Boy of the now-defunct duo P Square uploaded a video on Twitter of himself singing a verse to the late singer’s song before saying, “Rest in Peace Radio, it’s your birthday.”
His brother, Weasel who he shared a platform with as a collective whilst speaking to Spark TV Uganda fondly recounted anecdotes of the good times he had shared with him.

Vyper Ranking posted a video on Twitter saying, “Mowzey Radio is one of the greatest and realest artists Uganda has ever had.”
NBS Television Uganda dedicated their show on his birthday to celebrate his life and legacy, with his former producer present in the studio.
Notwithstanding time, the late vocalist does linger in the memories of his fans, family and friends and is immortalised by his timeless music.
