Actress Catherine Kamau aka Celina is on to the next one months after the end of Sue na Jonnie.
Catherine will now be starring in a new show called Maempress on Maisha Magic East alongside Neomi Ng’ang’a, Brian Ogola, Minnie Kariuki, Brenda Mwai and Jacqueline Matubia.
Maempress hopes to tackle real-life issues faced by many ladies in the society and the producers hope to reach out to women in society and families.

Let us know if we’ve captured the different types of ladies in our society and what issues you would like addressed through #MAEMPRESS let’s discuss our society through TV content,” Bob Muriithi one of the producers wrote.
Catherine replied to Bob’s post with “REAL ISSUES ! No fantasies , I really can’t wait am an audience in this one too.”
The show is the latest production from Phil-It productions who have brought us shows like Hullaballoo Estate and Sue na Jonnie.
Before Maempress, Catherine was known for her role on Sue and Jonnie, a show that was named one of the top shows in Africa by RAVE Reviews.
The show came to a close in January 2019 after 3 years on air.
Breaking the news, Celina wrote “I just want to say THANK YOU from the deepest place in my heart you guys have year after year supported me. When we sat down with @abelmutua and started the show #suenajonnie we had given it 2 years you guys gave us 3 great years We honestly couldn’t stretch the story further, but worry not something bigger is coming #2019, I have had a great # 2018, and I owe most of it to you.
