Diamond Platnumz has once again fallen victim to social media mockery following the release of his latest music video, The One, where he intentionally cut out King Tee Dee’s verse and replaced it with his own lyrics
The One is an epic song which was released in mid-February this year by Diamond Platnumz and Namibian singer, King Tee Dee. Barely a month later, Diamond released the official music video for the song without including King Tee Dee’s part in the song
Many music fans have since gone online to bash Diamond Platnumz for stealing all the credits while it was clear that King Tee Dee had done a great job in the song’s audio version too.
Diamond Platnumz is not new to copyright infringement scandals in his music. Earlier this year, the WCB artist was accused of allegedly copying Tyler the Creator’s music video in his collabo with Rayvanny, Tetema
King Tee Dee was just starting to get noticed in his music and a music video with Diamond would go a long way in putting him on the map. The One was one of his greatest hits so far and his career was just starting to gain momentum
Meanwhile, Diamond continues to bask in the glory of his fans as his solo video peaks on social media. In just 15 hours, The One official music video had over 1 million views on YouTube and had already hit #1 on the trending list!
