Just a few months after the Ethic Crew blew up the Kenyan entertainment industry, SWAT, the youngest of the group, found himself at the mercy of an angry mob after he was allegedly found breaking into a neighbor’s house to steal property.
In a viral video shared on social media, SWAT and a fellow colleague were caught by an angry mob in Umoja where they were thoroughly beaten. Many theories have since been raised on what really transpired.
In one story, SWAT and his friend allegedly broke into a neighbor’s house in a local plot in Umoja and tried to steal property. The two were, however, caught by one of the neighbors who then called a mob on them
In another story, the two were found by police smoking weed and in an attempt to escape from the cops, they decided to hide in a nearby plot. Their run was, however, cut short after the residents in the plot mistook them for thieves and ganged up on them
In the video, SWAT is clearly in pain from the beating and many voices can be heard from the angry mob. One man tried to get some scissors to shave SWAT’s head while a few women suggested calling their parents. SWAT willingly surrenders his phone to the angry mob, perhaps to ask them to contact his parents.
