In 2019 TV host Grace Ekirapa and her fellow co-host DJ Mo were rumored to be dating, something that was never verified nor justified with evidence.
In an interview with Massawe, Grace has now explained what started the rumours.
“During the launch of Crossover is when the rumor started.
We had done a couple of photo shoots on different days and most of the time his hands was on my shoulder or mine on his and so people got talking.” she explained.
Unknown to many in April 2018, Grace cancelled her wedding because she believed her then fiancé, was a rebound.
Speaking on Chat Spot, Grace said,
“2017 I WENT THROUGH A ROUGH BREAK-UP, AFTER RELATIONSHIP I WAS IN FOR FOUR YEARS LEADING TO MARRIAGE DID NOT WORK OUT.”
“THAT SAME YEAR I GOT INTO ANOTHER RELATIONSHIP AND I WAS HEADING TO MARRIAGE, 2018, I GOT ENGAGED IN FEBRUARY, IN MARCH I DID MY TRADITIONAL WEDDING AND I WAS TO GET MARRIED ON MY BIRTHDAY WHICH IS APRIL 27.”
Days to the wedding Grace realized she was not in love with the groom. He was a rebound after her heart was broken.
“I REALISED I WAS MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE I WASN’T GOING TO GET INTO SOMETHING I HADN’T THOUGHT THROUGH.
I KNEW IT WASN’T GOD’S IDEA FOR ME, I WAS GOING GET INTO SOMETHING AND HURT SOMEONE WHO DIDN’T NEED TO BE HURT.”
So now you know, Grace and Mo never dated
