Diamond Platnumz counting money before performing in Guinea
Preeminent Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz speaking in an exclusive interview with Wasafi Media disclosed just how much he earns when posed with a question in vis-à-vis his net worth.
The singer refuted claims from netizens estimating his net worth to upwards of multi billions.

He retorted that social media users have a proclivity to augment his earnings and claimed not to make as much.
The singer averse to parading his wealth, chastised artists flaunting theirs on social media adding he doesn’t derive gratification from how much he is worth but from the people he has opened the door for and from being a tax paying Tanzanian.
Diamond pointed out to an example of his chain which he estimated at Tsh. 5,000,000.
Translating to Ksh. 240,000 that he won’t parade since he would rather show out tangible investments.
He mentioned American rappers cum business moguls Jay Z and Puff Daddy as his entrepreneurial idols and wished more people would emulate them.

Diamond hinted that his investments greatly augment his income.
The proceedings of which, he will channel to his music, not for the flashiness but so as to give worth to the music industry.
Corroborating from his phone to the interviewer the singer broke down his income, stating that in endorsements alone, excluding his music he makes approximately Tsh. 7,000,000 daily and Tsh. 200,000,000 monthly which translates to about Ksh. 336,000 and 9.6 M respectively.
