Citizen TV and Hot 96 presenter Willis Raburu and his wife Marya are still grieving the loss of their unborn first child.
The couple was expecting their child on December 31, 2019, but unfortunately, she didn’t make it to the world.
Marya shared a quote by Zoe Clark Coates about grieving.
She went ahead to share a strong message and she wrote,
Now I totally understand people who contemplate suicide. This life is so messy…
Raburu also took to social media to mourn his daughter and in a touching message, he wrote,
I missed you so much today my daughter… keep them laughing and keep them entertained up there! Daddy loves you!
The loss has left the couple devastated and a few weeks ago she penned a tear-jerking message about losing a child.
PARENTS HAVE THE LABOR, THEY HAVE THE PAIN, THE PUSHING BUT INSTEAD OF THE FIRST CRY OF THEIR NEWBORN THEY HAVE A PIERCING SILENCE. THE ONLY CRIES COME FROM THEM, AS THEIR CHILD IS SILENT AND STILL.
WHEN YOU’RE TAUGHT ABOUT CHILDBIRTH, YOU HEAR ALL ABOUT LABOUR, THE PAIN, THE PUSHING AND THE HUGE FIRST CRY…BUT FOR MANY PEOPLE THAT ISN’T WHAT CHILDBIRTH LOOKS LIKE. INSTEAD OF THE HAPPINESS THEY WERE ASSURED OF THEY HAVE HEARTBREAK. INSTEAD OF DREAMS BEING FULFILLED, THEY HAVE THEIR FUTURE BEING CRUSHED. STORY OF MY LIFE.
