Media personaity and YouTuber Maureen Waititu has denied allegations that she has barred her baby daddy Frankie Kiarie from seeing his kids.
Speaking exclusively to Mpasho.co.ke on phone, Maureen said,
I have not barred him [frankie] from seeing his kids. I wrote a letter to him so that we can come up with a structure and order on how to raise the kids but he made it very clear he has no obligation to that and it is my lawyer who contacted him.
The mother of two also told Mpasho.co.ke that Frankie had stopped paying for child support.
‘He has not been supporting his kids for about six weeks now. The society is too harsh on women. What if it was the other way round me neglecting my kids and not supporting them? I would be judged hashly. Frankie is playing the victim,’ she added.
Maureen, who’s among the top online influencers and works with big brands also said that she was told to move out of her Westlands home [which belongs to her-mother-in-law], where she currently lives with her children.
Frankie called me and told me that his mother and brother said I move out.
The strong mother has been living with her kids alone since she parted ways with Frankie last year.
When called for comment, Frankie Kiarie said, “I cannot comment on this matter because it is a personal issue and it has nothing to do with anyone.”
Asked if he hasn’t been visiting the children and paying child support, again, Frankie chuckled said,
“I don’t want to comment on any of these to be honest.“
Asked if he has kicked out Maureen and the kids from his mother’s house.
He still maintained the “no comment” stance.
