It is a sad day for gospel musician Jimmy Gait who is mourning the demise of his friend. Through his youtube channel, Gait narrated the story of his friend who was a professor from Nakuru county that he met while at India for treatment.
The professor had been unwell for about six months and had been misdiagnosed with malaria and typhoid. On reaching India, he was shocked as the doctors told him that he had cancer stage four.
Emotional Gait shared the sad news that he had just recived a call which informed him of the death of his short-lived friend.
“I just received a call that my short-lived friend is no more. It pains me when I imagine that if his state was treated early enough, he would still be alive,” he said.
In tears, he expressed his annoyance because of the sad state in Kenyan hospitals with unprofessional doctors who are just greedy for money.
He reminded Kenyans to sign a petition he had started to kick out bad doctors. He has been a victim of misdiagnosis being the reason he went to India for treatment.
Kenyan doctors had advised him to undergo throat surgery to rectify a condition he had battled with for some time.
When he revealed his health conditions many people started speculating that he had throat cancer, something he disputed saying that he was still undergoing test after test find out the root cause of his throat complication.
India doctors confirmed that he was not suffering from cancer but rather hyperacidity which caused a burning sensation on his throat.
“Hi Friend! I thank you so much that so far you have been an encouragement to me during this time of my treatment,” he said.
“The results of the tests finally came out and they were quite SHOCKING to me! All the same, God is on the throne! God bless you!”
