The Metro FM Heatwave party has been cut short following recent chaos after the crowd started throwing bottles on the stage and destroying property. In a Tweet sent by Kwesta DaKar earlier today, the South African rapper and award winner expressed his disappointment after the managers of the event were forced to end the party early following the chaos.
Arrived in Kimberley to the heartbreaking news that the #MetroFMHeatwave even was shutdown to prevent further damage caused by the crowd throwing bottles. What possess a person to endanger the lives innocent patrons who come to enjoy live music? WE COME IN PEACE, or not at all… pic.twitter.com/vTTYm92Et3
