Diamond Patumz has for the first time spoken after his mother Sandra revealed that Mzee Abdul wasn’t his biological father.
In an interview with Wasafi FM, Diamond said that he came to know that Mzee Abdul wasn’t his dad a few months ago but kept quiet. He narrated how Mzee Abdul’s mother never liked him when he was still young and would chase him and his sister (Queen Darleen) whenever they visited him especially when he was sick.

The Baba Lao hitmaker went ahead to narrate how he used to help Mzee Abdul after he made it in life but many times he went to press denying that he didn’t.
Speaking in an interview on The Switch Show on Wasafi FM, the singer said,
‘Lakini Kiukweli nimekua namsaidia. Kwanza mamangu allikuwa ananipigia simu kila wakati “mtumie hela babako’. Mama alikuwa anaona vibaya kwa maana nilikuwa nasaidia Mzee Abdul akitaka hela lakini anaenda kunizungumzia kwenye vyombo vya Habari kuwa simsaidii’.
[I have been helping him and most of the time it was my mother who would call asking me to send him money. But it got to a point she got angry at Mzee Abdul because he was going round in the media saying I don’t help him yet I did].
