Jeff Koinange and his wife struggled for nine years without bearing a child before the couple agreed to go the invitro-fartilisation way.
“We had practically given up until Jimmy Monclus Maleketa, a half-Spanish, half Congolese friend we met in Lagos often mistaken for our son suggested we try invitro-fartilisation at a renowned fertility clinic in Barcelona, Spain,” goes an extract from the first paragraph of the chapter titled Fatherhood Finally.
2. DJ Soxxy
Celebrated gospel spin master Jackson Kamau aka DJ Soxxy and his wife Anne Kamau had tried for years to get pregnant without success.
This is because the wife was suffering from PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) a condition that makes getting pregnant difficult.
Like any relationship, it has not been easy.
I remember when we were getting to know each other, she confided in me that she may never be able to have children because of a condition she had, called PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome).
At that point, I didn’t even consider what she had just told me because having children or not was not a big deal to me and at that point I hadn’t thought she was going to be my wife.
Perhaps it was love that was clouding my judgement, because after all, they say love makes you do and say very foolish things.
Soxxy goes on to add that Anne’s depression was the push that Soxxy needed to start trying for a baby.
Anne kept testing from home to see if she was pregnant but all tests were negative and the frustration grew.

At this point Anne and I had given up on ever having children of our own and all we could do is pray and wait.
I remember coming home from work in December only to find 3 pregnancy kits on our bed all indicating positive –
I would know! I had become somewhat an expert pregnancy kit reader.
I asked whose pregnancy kits they were as if they could have been someone else’s.
3. Kambua
Gospel artiste Kambua is among celebrities who have struggled with pregnancy.
Kambua is a mother of one, a son named Nathaniel with her husband Jackson Mathu.
She had tried to conceive for years and luckily God heard her cries.
4. Shiro Wa GP
Shiro who is a vernacular artiste had struggled with childlessness for years before God gave her twins.
Sadly for her one of the twins passed away after being hospitalized for months.
