The last few days have been pure hype for Kenyan hip hop fans thanks to Bas, Stefflon Don and Designer’s performances at the Jameson Connects concert. While Designer might have a different story to tell after being ‘sexually harassed’ and robbed by the crowd, Bas was busy rapping to his hit songs and promoting his label, Dreamville.

The Jameson Connects was sponsored by Pernod Ricard and for many, it was a great way to end the year. Not only did the crowd enjoy live performances from the American stars but also Kenya’s own Nyashinski, King Kaka and Naiboi lined up for the mega event.

“This is one of the premium events in Kenya where we always look forward to connecting with our consumers while experiencing new things the Jameson way,” Jameson’s ambassador, Ms. Achieng told journalists before the event. “This year the concert is bigger, better, exciting and full of amazing activities.”

In his performance, Bas to the chance to pay tribute to his label, Dreamville and commend his partner in music back home J. Cole. He then went on to light the crowd on fire with multiple performances as he interacted with the front crowd while doing his thing. This will remain a memorable event to many Hip-hop fans in Kenya
