The king of Gengetone has said he will not be thrown into the ratchetry that teen socialite Shakila spins.
Shakilla incensed many a fan, after stating that Mejja is overrated after his not so impressive debut on Ben Soul’s single Nairobi.
‘Mejja is a low budget artiste his part in the song Nairobi should be deleted,’ Shakilla screamed.
Shakilla came to the limelight in 2020 after she went live on Instagram and shared a couple of names of men she has slept with.

She later recanted her statements on football darling Victor Wanyama and Khaligraph after she was threatened with legal action. She still insisted that the rest of the names mentioned are legit.
Mejja was on Radio Maisha where he was asked to respond to Shakila’s claims.
Mejja was not impressed.
“First of all, sina cha kusema kwake because sibambiki vile wasee wana normalise abnormality, I won’t be the first to reward abnormality. It is a high time kenyans are aware of people awarding abnormality. I will not.”
Mejja noted that Shakila’s antiques are getting her noticed and Eric Omondi is giving her more clout by casting her in his reality shows. This is something Mejja frowned upon.
“There is a young girl somewhere not flaunting her nudity, she is educated and doesn’t have a job then there is this chic doing things with TV remotes and people reward her. She gets gigs and money.”

Adding,
“What is this telling the chic with principles? She will think to herself that being decent will bring you no reward at all, no work no nothing even with all the respect you have given to yourself. So that is why I don’t want to answer to her or push this further it will be like rewarding this abnormality.”
