Talented street boy George has been featured in a music video dupped ‘Epuka Corona’ which aims at creating awareness about the coronavirus pandemic.
The song that was put together by the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage under the leadership of Ambassador Amina Mohamed, features Masauti, Nairobi street boy with an enchanting musical voice George Ndung’u and talented Chuchu.
The song which has been uploaded on Masauti’s Youtube channel has a kind of sorrowful vibe where the three artists ask fans to pray to God to keep them safe from the virus.
In the song, George, gives advice on measures to be taken to avoid getting infected and what people must do if they happen to have any symptoms of the virus.
He says the virus has taken so many loves insisting we need to be careful as we are not well equipped.
Ipepete hitmaker also advises Kenyans to be vigilant in ensuring that they follow the required measures and avoid contracting the virus.
The government’s message to citizens about the deadly coronavirus has also been fused into the song.
Coronavirus in Kenya
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced that Kenya has 15 cases of coronavirus so far.
Of the new confirmed cases, five are Kenyans and three are foreigners.
All the eight came through the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport between March 4 and 17. Tracing is ongoing for 363 persons.
CS Kagwe last week said the coming two weeks are the most critical for Kenya in determining whether the situation will go full-blown or otherwise, going by the trends observed in other countries after confirmation of the first case.
