Gospel singer Emmy Kosgei has had to contend with over 30 different headlines – at different times in the past years – screaming that she is expecting a baby with her Nigerian hubby, Apostle Anselm Madubuko.
The Taai star has had to contend with headlines like ‘Emmy has five more months to give birth’. Please note, this is at a time, she is not even pregnant. Or planning on having a baby.
Fine, she is married and it is the natural progression of things… that doesn’t then mean, it is something that is immediately in her plans. That said, the headlines became too many she had to defend herself and address the wild speculations.
She told Betty Kyallo in an interview, “YOU KNOW FAMILY LIFE IS PRIVATE LIFE AND WE ALLOW PEOPLE TO SNEAK IN A LITTLE BIT. BUT AS I SAID, LET’S WAIT,” SHE SAID.
Amani
Amani has been a victim of pregnancy headlines, mpaka amechoka. Her first encounter with the headline was back when she was dating AY.
The news that was printed on an entertainment pullout spread like wildfire. I later heard she had a hard time convincing her parents that the story was false.
Then when performing at the Plot, Amani was photographed looking nice round and rotund and the obvious conclusion was, “Amepachikwa mimba“.

Zeddy
For comedienne Zeddy, the pregnancy rumours were fanned by her own doing. The Churchill Live stand up comic posted a photo with a fake baby bump last year. This set tongues wagging like they are on steroids. After that died down, she posted the same photo again this month with the caption “#TBT”.
She lets the dogs out. That is what she did.
