Bongo artiste and Big Brother Africa TV reality show star Feza has made a return on the music scene with a bang, teaming up with Nigerian music superstar D’banj’s DB Records to release her latest single Bless Me.
“My new single, Bless Me, is a song straight from the heart.
I bless God for the day I met D’banj and having signed to DB Records, I really
cannot wait for what is to come and Bless Me is just a tip of the iceberg.
Expect more!” she told Spice.
Feza joins DB Records as the imprint’s first female signee.
Bless Me is a soulful, mid-tempo tune with a blend of Kiswahili, English and
Yoruba that totally exudes her musical talent and justifies D’banj’s faith in
her talent that necessitated his return to the shores of Nigeria from his
sojourn in the United States.
She intimates meeting the decorated Nigerian star was
exactly the push she needed to take her music to the next level.
“I have been looking forward to meeting D’banj for many
years and then when it happened, I was so lucky to also get signed by a legend
who is well respected in the music game across the continent. It’s actually a
pleasure to be on the same team with D’banj; I believe this is just what my
career needs for the next level,” Feza added.
Bless Me was produced by David Acekeyz, co-produced and
written by Cheekychizzy, and the video was shot and directed on an island in
Lagos, Nigeria, by Clarence Peters.
“I just want to appreciate all my Kenyan ninjas for their support over the years. Bless Me is out and blessing people. Thank you guys, so much,” she said in conclusion.
