Kenya has seen the rise and sometimes fall of its comedians. With the comedic realm shifting towards more digital platforms and the realm seeming less financially viable, eminent from the burgeoning cases of misfortune for comedians. Here are legendary acts we haven’t heard from in a while.

John Kiarie, a third of Redykyulas is someone we haven’t heard from in a minute.
John ran for a political seat twice; in 2013 where he lost and fell back to comedy and in 2017.
In his second shot, he successfully clinched the seat and serves as an MP for Dagoretti South.
KJ seems to have put a hiatus to his comedic antics and is currently focusing on politics.
