Aspiring young rapper, Patrick Ssenyonjo, was in for a big shock earlier today after his dream of becoming a rapper was cut short by the Ugandan Youth Minister, Florence Nakiwala
Patrick, who is only seven years old, is a promising kid who has, apparently been skipping school to pursue his dream of becoming a musician.
After many complaints from the school that the young boy was missing school to perform at late night shows, the Ugandan Youth Minister stepped in to warn the boy that if he didn’t quit his music, he would put him in juvenile prison.
“The constitution clearly states that no one under the age of 18 is allowed to work, ” she said. ” Therefore this kid should not be working rather be in school. Anyone found aiding his music career will have to face the law as well. ”
Patrick’s manager, however, dismissed all claims that the boy was performing at night. He also added that he wasn’t getting paid to perform and that technically, that wasn’t working.
